Bestest. Ramadan. Ever.

This is my first review ever! I'm so excited!

The book I'm reviewing today is called Bestest. Ramadan. Ever. by Medeia Sharif. It's Medeia's debut book and for the first to be published, it was incredible! I highly recommend this book. It's full of action, excitement, drama, and romance.

The main character, Almira Abdul, is an adventurous, funny, Muslim girl, trying to get through her first Ramadan fasting. I don't think I could survive Ramadan with all the stuff going on around her. First of all, she has a crush on the same boy as her best friend, and her grandfather says and does horrible things that make Almira want to cry. If it wasn't for her friends she never would have survived Ramadan. Maria, Lisa, and Jillian seem like the perfect best friends, funny, sweet, and loyal.

My favorite part was when Almira was so crazy for the boy she liked, Peter, that she stole his backpack to look for his sketch pad.

The only problem with the book is chapter endings. Sometimes the way they just ended suddenly got on my nerves. The only character I don't like is Peter. He seems like an amazing boyfriend, but he also seems pushy, and acts like he likes every girl he meets. If I had to rate this book I would give it 4 stars. I hope that it's a series because I want to know what happens next.

READ THE BOOK!!!!!
